Holiday to Kenya & Tanzania
Nadine Petty, 14th June 2024Not only was the trip exciting, but it felt like a homecoming and Mahlatini took care of my husband and me every step of the way.
Accommodation Visited
Tamarind Tree Hotel
“I was only there for about 4 hours due to flights being delayed so unsure if this is a fair rating, but the room was comfortable and clean and the lobby was quite pretty. The staff were friendly and check-in was easy. There was no lotion in the room though and the pumps for the shampoo and conditioner bottles in the shower did not work.”
Elerai Camp
“Very quaint tent and campsite. The staff was accommodating and friendly and the food was good, my only complaint is that breakfast should start earlier. We had to be up early for game drives and left the camp each morning between 6:15 and 6:30 while breakfast wasn't served until 6:30, so we kept missing out on the morning meal. Our safari guide, Ishmael, was awesome!”
The Sands Zanzibar
“The villas were gorgeous! We loved the Arabian decorative flare and architecture. The staff were always friendly and they went above and beyond. My husband secretly made arrangements with the chef on duty to bake me a cake, which they brought out on my first night there and sang me a song. There needs to be some better upkeep to the rooms, there were issues with the toilets in both bathrooms and a fan fell out of the window mount in one of the bathrooms all within the first day. The issues were resolved quickly, which was good, so there were no real concerns. I loved this hotel and would stay here again.”
Staff Review
“In one word, perfect! Aaron kept me abreast of everything I needed to know from start to finish. I would certainly use him and Mahlatini again for future travel plans.”
