holiday to Seychelles, Zimbabwe & South Africa
Debbie Cohen, 12th June 2024This trip was unlike anything we could have imagined. It felt magical, filled with once-in-a-lifetime experiences. We could not have imagined these experiences and it was great to share them with people who were interested and excited about sharing them with us.

Accommodation Visited
Constance Ephelia Seychelles
“Pretty awesome. We loved it. Amenities and service were top-notch. Loved the spa and the staff. The food was very good. It was humid and buggy, but that wasn’t within their control.”
The Wallow Lodge
“The people here made the experience. Every person was genuinely heartfelt and sincere. Authentic is the word that comes to mind. We loved the lodge and the tents, we only wished we had more time to soak in all this destination had to offer. We didn’t love the food offerings. It felt like they were a bit short-staffed or limited in their food choices. Charles was a joy at bartending. The gorge set up was a special moment.”
Shumbalala Game Lodge
“Oh my gosh! Opulence beyond what we could have imagined. They made every effort to make sure we were well cared for and our experiences were special. The food was phenomenal and the sunset “proposal” moment was a special touch. Our guide and tracker were the best - they made sure our experience was enlightening and exciting. They were both so knowledgeable and shared their wisdom with us in ways that added to our experience.”
Staff Review
“Stuart was very helpful in guiding our decision-making and optimizing our itinerary for our time in Africa. He was a great partner for us. We loved the website that detailed where we were going and what we would experience; it made us excited for our trip in the months leading up to it. The on-ground transfer people were a welcome touch and made most of our transitions super easy.
One piece of feedback is that during challenging periods (like flight cancellations), we needed more communication about what to do and what was happening. The silence while he was working on the issue was unnerving, particularly on our last leg. I appreciated the support and communication from his supervisor during that time. While Stuart was communicative to a point, we needed more details. In the cluster of our last flight cancellation, we needed more support. We were told there would be no need for e-visas, but that was not the case (and took 2.5 hours to deal with). The assurance that “there will be people there to help you through it” translated to being on our own navigating immigration and hotel vouchers. The ultimate solution reached was perfect and perhaps could have been offered as an option during earlier flight cancellations.”
