“This was a luxurious, spacious apartment and we felt very safe and comfortable during our stay in Cape Town. There is a little coffee shop on site and a gym (the gym was not open while we were there but was only days away from being ready). We found lovely breakfast and other dining options nearby. Easy walk to the V&A Waterfront and the amazing weekend farmer's market.”
Walkers Plains Camp
“I wish there were an option for six stars... Walkers Plains was the perfect safari lodge for our family, and we were absolutely delighted to stay there and so sad to leave. Our guide Paul and tracker Phanuel were brilliant, and we became friends so quickly. We loved everything about Walkers—the warm welcome from the team, the chef and his team for delivering amazing meals to suit our dietary needs, and the stunning lodge itself. And I haven't even mentioned the wildlife we saw! From the moment we arrived, seeing an elephant drinking at the waterhole, to the hyenas, lions, leopards, rhinos, hippos, and everything else, it was amazing. LOVED IT!”
Heritage Le Telfair Golf & Wellness Resort
“We went to Le Telfair after our safari, and it was the perfect antidote to the early mornings of game drives. There is such a sense of calm and serenity there, with a beautiful scent of vanilla and one of the most stunning beach views I have ever seen. We enjoyed all the restaurants, the spa, and all the facilities. We spent a lot of time near the water activity area on kayaks, pedalos, and paddleboards. I loved the beach club down there too—the food was great, and the service was lovely. The spa was stunning; I had a glorious facial.
Le Telfair is a family resort, so there are lots of children of all ages around, but we never felt it was crowded—there was always space and a lounger or sun bed to relax on.”
