Accommodation Visited
Rivertrees Country Inn
“Lovely grounds, great service and very accommodating staff. I loved the mosquito netting around the beds. An update to the bathrooms would earn another star!”
Entamanu Ngorongoro
“Beautiful accommodations with wonderful views. Lovely wood structures are permanent now and artistically built. The food was crazy good as was the staff who were super knowledgeable, very welcoming, and friendly. The only downside was the electric heaters in the rooms, which seemed to be on a timer and didn’t last the night! More training for the guests on how to use the heater remote is needed or an improved heating solution may be required. Our guide was amazing and super experienced. Fabulous!”
Serengeti Safari Camp
“The tents were big and comfortable. The trained chefs put on delicious buffets and wonderful packed meals for our bush excursions. We were always accompanied at night and felt safe. These camps are exceedingly well managed and the staff provides top-notch customer care.”
Ol Seki Hemingways Mara
“Wish I could give this camp more stars. The location alone was amazing with breathtaking views and glamorous tents that didn’t feel like tents at all. Luxurious all the way! Fabulous food in the incredible dining and lounge facility. Wonderful service and again, we were always accompanied in the evening and always felt safe, even when hearing the lions roar. Spectacular in every way including the Maasai guide who was an expert tracker, knowledgeable about birds, fauna, and even cell phone photography. The Maasai exuded such warmth and kindness and an obvious respect for nature and its wildlife.”
InterContinental Johannesburg O.R. Tambo Airport
“Great hotel. Lovely rooms and accommodations.”
Rovos Rail
“Wow! Rovos Rail has earned its “Best Train Excursion in the World” for good reason. It was amazing. Excellent meals with several courses each, three times a day… including great South African wines to pair! Exquisite dining facilities with great service made us feel like royalty. Highly recommend it for a unique experience!”
Cape Grace, A Fairmont Managed Hotel
“The location of the Cape Grace offered spectacular views of Table Mountain right on the waterfront and near great shopping and restaurants. Our concierge, Ray, was so gracious in welcoming us and tending to our requests that he elevated our memorable stay at this fabulous hotel to unforgettable!”
Staff Review
“Caroline knocked it out of the park (as we Americans say). She connected us with the most exclusive accommodations that were exceedingly well managed from staff to professionally trained chefs…in the bush!! Caroline hired dependable, professional services to meet and greet us for all our transportation and travel changes. There wasn’t a single glitch, late flight or issue for the entire trip. I would absolutely recommend Mahlatini and Caroline… and already have! I look forward to working with this awesome travel team again!”
