Holiday to Tanzania & Kenya
Anonymous, 2nd September 2024I got really teary-eyed leaving Tanzania and we rate our trip 20+. We loved our guide, Freddy for the Ngorongoro Crater, he became a very dear friend to us. Learning about the government and the tribes in Tanzania was very heartwarming. We have a lot of respect for the government taking control of the poaching problem and taking care of the beautiful animals. Africa is a very special continent and we feel honored and blessed to have gotten to visit.

Hamerkop House by Lemala
“We rate the Hamerkop House 10+. They have wonderful staff!! We loved the chief, he was so fun and friendly plus his food was fantastic. I had a nice walk around the golf course. Jack really enjoyed the pool. I enjoyed the books in our room.”
Lemala Ngorongoro
“We rate the Lemala Ngorongoro 20+. Lemala was super cozy and warm. We loved the hot water bottle that warmed our bed. We felt very safe with the security and protection provided by the wonderful Maasai men. The food was very delicious and the staff was friendly and helpful!!!”
Lemala Mara Tented Camp
“We rate the Lemala Mara Tented Camp 20+. We had so much fun at this camp. Winston was an exceptional manager, super fun and friendly. One of the best things we experienced was our 'talking shower,' and Bruno, our tent steward, took wonderful care of us. We also enjoyed the company of our Maasai protection fellows and loved meeting other travelers. We really enjoyed the hot air balloon ride and seeing the animals from a bird's-eye view.”
Governors' Camp
“We rate the Governor's Camp 20+. This is a beautiful property surrounded by nature on steroids!!! Again, we have to give praise to Felix the manager who was extremely helpful and kind to us as well as the staff. Our safari guide Issac was fantastic! He went out of his way to find every animal we wanted to see and more. It was very hard to say goodbye to this group of new friends.”

We absolutely loved the David Sheldrick Orphanage in Nairobi. We could have spent all day there but felt thankful we got to see all the babies and their keepers.”
