holiday to Kenya & Mauritius
Christopher Seitz, 9th September 2024My husband and I feel so lucky and blessed that we were able to go on this honeymoon, which was a trip of a lifetime. When traveling so far and to a place unknown to us, it was important for us to work with a trusted tour operator who would look after the small details to keep us safe and stress-free. From the moment we landed in Kenya, we were taken care of by wonderful people who had our best interests at heart. We fell in love with safari and then enjoyed much-needed relaxation on the beach in Mauritius. We will remember this trip fondly for the rest of our lives and couldn't ask for anything more.

“We were so thankful to have an experience where we were immersed in the culture, aside from the safari portion of our Kenya trip. The people were wonderful, the food was excellent, and we felt it was a perfect oasis to kick off our honeymoon after a long flight. We also appreciated the close walking distance to the Giraffe Center, which was a really fun activity that kept us from experiencing too much jet lag!”

“I don't know that I have the words to properly explain how wonderful this camp is. First and foremost, the people are exceptional. From the moment we landed (which was a fun experience in itself taking the smaller planes), we were picked up by Amos - who would then be our game drive guide for the entire duration of our stay. He was knowledgeable and helped us see everything we dreamed of seeing on safari. The safari and conservancy were beautiful and not crowded with tourists due to the limits they place on the number of people/camps in the area, this is not the case everywhere, and made such a difference. Aside from a perfect safari experience, the lodge was such an amazing place to be for four nights. We looked forward to every meal and marveled at how FRESH each meal was. Our personal camp was also a dream with a view that could not be beat. Thank you to Debbie and her entire staff for exceeding all expectations, we could not be happier and will never forget our time here.”

“What a treat it was to stay at Shanti Maurice for seven nights/eight days! Our Villa was our happy place for this entire time and we hated leaving it, as it had everything - a gorgeous ocean view, a large personal pool, a daybed for reading, bean bag chairs for lounging in the sun, an outdoor shower, the comfiest bed, tons of space and was a true oasis for us. We needed rest and recovery after our wedding and then the safari trip, and this is exactly what we got. The resort was also gorgeous and we especially enjoyed the Rum Shed and our daily breakfast and happy hours watching the sunsets each night. We also were frequent gym goers and tennis players, as it felt nice to move after our game drives in the car. Lastly, the spa was exceptional! We had a honeymoon couple massage which was a treat, but loved it so much, we went back for a facial. Truly a wonderful resort and a beautiful location for a honeymoon!”

“We worked with Aaron for over a year to craft our perfect honeymoon. He provided us with many itineraries and listened to us to hear what we really wanted out of the trip. Instead of safari camping, we wanted glamping. Instead of a beach resort that took several flights to get to, he found us an alternate island. We also gave him the challenge of finding us a resort with a personal pool and tennis court and he did it! I shared all of my concerns and questions with Aaron, and every time he had an answer or a response that made me feel confident in our plans. He was extremely responsive and checked in throughout the trip to make sure we were safely at each of our stops, as we had a few.
