Arielle Kaplan, 11th October 2024Our trip to Africa for our honeymoon surpassed our expectations in every way. We had the most memorable time in Cape Town, Sabi Sands, and Bazaruto Island. It was the perfect itinerary that gave us a mix of city, safari, and beach. The entire planning process was easy and smooth thanks to Donna and the Mahlatini team. It was such a special trip that we will never forget. We cannot say enough good things about our entire experience from start to finish. It was truly the experience of a lifetime!

“From the moment we stepped off the plane, we were greeted by the most wonderful people and experiences. Our trip to Cape Town included a stay at Cape Cadogan Boutique Hotel, which is a centrally located chic B&B with incredible views of Table Mountain. This was the perfect home base to explore the city and unwind after a long day of exploration. The staff were all so friendly and included so many nice touches throughout our stay. We spent a day in the wine regions and another day exploring Cape Point. We had the same guide for all of our airport transfers and full-day tours which was lovely as we got to really connect with someone knowledgeable of the area.”

“Next we were off to Chitwa Chitwa for safari, and we truly cannot put into words how magical our time was here. The property and accommodations were simply breathtaking. Our room was stunning - so spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. Between game drives, we loved relaxing on our patio in our private pool and watching the wildlife only steps away. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our time here was perfect. Each day was full of surprises, from the animals we encountered to the special (and incredibly delicious) meals, and extra treats in our room. In addition to the staff, we met so many wonderful guests who made our experience even more enjoyable. We were so sad to leave!”

“Luckily we were able to recover from our "post safari blues" on the picturesque island of Bazaruto off the coast of Mozambique. After 10 busy days in Cape Town and on safari, it was so nice to be able to relax at the beach for the final leg of our trip. Anantara made us feel welcome and right at home. Our room had a private plunge pool and was right on the beach, so we spent our days dipping in the pool and the ocean. The staff were great and the food here was fantastic!”

“On the last night of our honeymoon, we spent the night at the Saxon before flying back to the US. This hotel was fantastic and we only wish we had more time here! The property and suite were luxurious with thoughtful touches. Despite our short stay (24 hours) the staff made sure we felt right at home. It was the perfect place to relax for our last night before the long journey home.”
