Simbavati River Lodge
“This was hands down the highlight of our trip! Although we originally booked at River Lodge, we received an upgrade to the beautiful Mvubu Cottage due to possible construction. Mvubu Cottage, with its spacious two bedrooms and two bathrooms, is off-site but close to Simbavati Hilltop, which worked out perfectly.
Upon arrival, there was a little initial confusion about not staying at River Lodge, but it turned out to be an amazing experience. We had our own trails guide and tracker, Alison and Godis, who were both incredible. Alison’s knowledge and passion truly elevated our experience to something unforgettable.
All of our meals were at the stunning Simbavati Hilltop, and each afternoon, our butler Benedict brought lunch right to our cottage—a real treat! While I’m sure River Lodge would have been lovely, this upgrade made our stay even more memorable.”
