GIVITEX srl, 27th December 2024I returned from the trip with somewhat mixed feelings, mostly due to the weather conditions (obviously unpredictable) that significantly affected and limited my vacation.

Galle Face Hotel
“A historic hotel whose furnishings and details are inspired by a colonial style that I particularly appreciated. The breakfast and common areas were excellent. However, the room could use a bit more cleanliness and attention to detail, as it is in definite need of renovation - though this should be done without compromising the history and charm of the hotel itself.”
Leopard Trails Wilpattu National Park
“Definitely my favorite. First and foremost for the exceptional cuisine, the atmosphere (the candlelit dinner under the tree was truly unforgettable and really unique), the upkeep of the tent, and the courtesy, kindness, and professionalism of the staff. I had everything I needed. Considering that I was truly immersed in nature, it turned out to be better than hotels where I might have expected much greater attention to detail.”

“Here too, a very large hotel with many people, where one can appreciate the history, but it would benefit from some renovations without altering the structure’s history and architecture. Of course, the standards in Sri Lanka are different from those of many other countries, so I’d say my stay was pleasant, except for the rain, which forced me to spend too much time unable to do what I had planned.”

“Good hotel, reef, staff, and cuisine. Unfortunately, it was rain, rain, and torrential rain for almost my entire stay. It was difficult even to move around the resort, which, at least in this case, offered some activities and common spaces (like the gym, game room, various bars, and restaurants) where I could take refuge from the relentless rain and wind.”
