Holiday to South Africa

Accommodation Visited
Lawhill Luxury Apartments
“Having previously stayed in the Waterfront Apartments we were equally impressed with the Lawhill Apartments. The location is excellent with easy access to the V&A Waterfront and surrounding areas. The apartments are well located and are very well furnished and maintained. An excellent starting point after a long trip from the UK.”
Avondrood Guest House
“Avondrood was a new experience for us having previously stayed in two other locations in Franschhoek. We found the property to be very comfortable and we particularly enjoyed the warm personal service we received from the manager and staff at the property. The location is excellent at the bottom end of the main street in the Franschhoek village. We will definitely return to Avondrood.”
The Marine
“Hermanus was a new location for us and it is a beautiful venue with wonderful views and walks along the coastal paths. The Marine is a luxury hotel that provides excellent service at all levels. It really is worth a visit and we would recommend it without any reservation.”
Winchester Mansions
“The Winchester is a vibrant hotel in Sea Point, Cape Town. It has a buzzing central atrium area where people meet to enjoy food or drinks from morning to evening. The rooms are comfortable however there is significant light ingress as the bedroom doors are not well-fitted and in our case rattled in the wind at times. The pool area, whilst comfortable, is relatively small. We were glad that we visited Winchester Mansions however we are unlikely to visit again.”
Vineyard Hotel & Spa
“Our third visit to the Vineyard and we thoroughly enjoyed our three-day stay. The hotel was fully booked, and at times service was perhaps slower than we had previously experienced, however it was not a problem. The hotel surroundings and gardens are a lovely place to unwind and the warm welcome we received from the staff makes you want to return again.”

“Natasha and the wider Mahlatini team were excellent as expected. This was our seventh trip to South Africa and our third with Mahlatini. Natasha helped us compile our travel itinerary and understood our desire to return to some existing locations whilst at the same time add in some new destinations. Our catch-up calls with Natasha were very useful and the information that we received pre-departure covered every aspect of the detail that anyone could reasonably expect.”
