Charles Kao, 8th February 2025This trip has been one of the most enjoyable trips my wife and I have ever been on. Without question one of the smoothest travel experiences I've had. Dave and the Mahlatini crew know what they're doing. It was super helpful to us that the team coordinated/hired folks at each destination to help us navigate luggage, immigration, and generally where to go making our trip effectively stress-free. The experiences were also fantastic. Dave set up Half Board and All-Inclusive accommodations for us along the way and it was just super helpful for us to have the peace of mind that everything was taken care of. The safari tour and cultural immersion in Dubai that Dave found for us was an absolute joy of an experience. His selection of the LUX resort was perfect: relaxing, variety of activities, and just overall beautiful and comfortable accommodations.

“The Versace sits a little bit further away from the center of town so definitely no walking to places (though I suspect this is true of many hotels in Dubai). The hotel is well-staffed with constant availability of taxis and ride-hire vehicles. The food at the hotel as part of our stay (half-board) with 3 restaurant options was fantastic. The food was solid and a great way to not have to think about meals and fending for ourselves. The room was extravagant and the staff was very helpful. In retrospect, we should have stayed in Dubai for a few extra days!”
LUX* South Ari Atoll Maldives
“The LUX resort is stunning. The staff was always friendly, super helpful, and allowed us to fully unwind. The resort offers so many activities - from an air-conditioned gym to yoga/pilates, kayaks, paddle boards, deep sea fishing, snorkeling, and SCUBA. The resort also boasts at least 5 different restaurants and two large community pools. They even have their own little ice cream shop (tasty ice cream!). We were able to easily plan out our days to be either full of activities or just relaxed to read a book by the beach or at the pool.”
