Holiday to South Africa
Jordan Dervan, 15th March 2025It was the best trip we have ever taken in our lives!! The safari was the highlight! It could not be more perfect! The Winelands and Cape Town are tied for second! We loved them both so much. Unfortunately, we didn't have the best weather in Cape Town but we still had an amazing time! The Peninsula tour is a must and the weather was perfect that day!

“Love how they gave us connecting rooms but with a family of 5 requiring us to get 3 rooms was a little much. We never even went in the third room because I did not feel comfortable having a child sleep in a room on their own. Regardless we all stayed in the connecting rooms together and breakfast was great! Perfect place to stay for a late arrival and early next-day departure!”
Walkers Plains Camp
“If I could give them 100 stars I would! Hands down amazing! Amazing staff, amazing game drives, amazing food, amazing location, amazing facility!!! We all wanted to cry when we left! The kids just talked about how much they missed Walkers during the rest of our trip. Could not have been better! They even went on a run with me in the bush with a tracking car following us... it was incredible! Also, I was so impressed with all the knowledge the guide and tracker had about all the animals... you can tell they really love what they do. We feel so lucky we got to go there!”
Waterfront Village
“Perfect location... A little difficult to check in because the place is so large and the reception desk is very far away and not clearly marked. But we loved how we could walk around and get to restaurants and shops easily. The location is the best part! Could not have been better!”
Boschendal
“Hands down amazing! Loved our cottage... I felt like I was in a dream! Perfect winery for families. So much for kids and adults to do. It was the perfect way to end our trip. Just relaxing, mountain bike riding, wine tasting, and eating! We really loved it. It's hard to make wine regions fun for children and this place has it all. We also took the wine tram to other places and had a great time as well. All your recommendations were perfect! Babylonstoren was another favorite for all us... fun wine tasting and donkey feedings... what more could you want!”
