We couldn't be happier with the trip planned for us, we absolutely loved working with Mahlatini and Stuart. We're forever grateful for the vacation of a lifetime as a family!

Boschendal
“We really enjoyed Boschendal! The property is sprawling and very impressive. The four-bedroom cottage was perfect for our family of 5, though I wish the orchard wasn't so far from the main part of the resort (it was about a 10 minute shuttle ride each way). We really enjoyed the harvest festival while we were there, and the included breakfast was spectacular. Wish we had more time here!”
La Fontaine Boutique Hotel
“We loved this boutique hotel! The staff was phenomenal, the rooms were each unique, the pool was great and it was conveniently located to downtown Franschoek. Such a gem.”
One & Only Cape Town
“The One & Only was one of our favourites from the trip, so luxurious! From the pool to the spa to the turndown service to the breakfast, everything at this hotel was absolutely top tier. One of the nicest hotels we've stayed at as a family. Couldn't recommend it enough.”
Shumbalala Game Lodge
“The word 'special' comes to mind when reflecting on Shumbalala. We may be partial to our first safari lodge and game drive experience, but we felt truly at home at this wonderful place. The staff was warm and thoughtful, our tracker and guide were engaging and fun, and the food was incredible. We loved every minute here and hope to return someday. Such an incredible property!”
Old Drift Lodge
“As discussed, while Old Drift was lovely, it paled in comparison a bit to Shumbalala. The staff was kind but not quite as warm/attentive, the rooms were lovely, though in a bit more worn condition, and the game drives were less eventful. You also don't have a tracker here and our guide was a bit quiet, so the experience was just a bit less exciting. The food was wonderful, and the range of activities was great. We also all visited the spa which we loved! Would definitely recommend for families, seemed very kid-friendly.”
