Holiday to Zambia
Tony Quinlan, 7th June 2025We had a wonderful holiday which was over all too soon. Our only negative would be the long hours of travel to Zambia and back which is unavoidable I think unless there may be a more direct route?
Accommodation Visited
KuKaya Lodge
“Lovely, friendly staff who looked after us very well in our exhausted state! Jo and her staff's flexibility in accommodating us was very welcome. The food was wonderful and Prince was a superb guide.”
Bilimungwe Bushcamp
“A more rustic experience than the others but very enjoyable. Again, the food and attention to detail were excellent. The breakfast on the bank of the river at sunrise was memorable. We were disappointed at the lack of wildlife in the lagoon. Alec was our guide and did a good job.”
Chindeni Bush Camp
“Our favourite camp of the lot! The accommodation, together with the view of the lagoon, was superb. Alison and Scott were delightful and looked after us very well. Our guide Shadreck was superb. We narrowly missed seeing two lions the day before we arrived at the camp and he successfully and skillfully tracked them down for us.”
Mfuwe Lodge
“Delighted to be reunited with WiFi! Very different to our previous locations in that it was a big operation but still great. It was lovely to meet the Bushcamp management there. Our guide Jason was very knowledgeable. It was interesting to see the farm and visit the textile enterprise.”
Staff Review
“Jessica and the team were efficient, courteous and very helpful throughout.”
