Michael O'Leary, 14th June 2025We really had an absolutely fantastic trip from start to finish. As part of our trip, we did safari in three amazing locations: Tarangire, the Ngorongoro Crater, and the Serengeti. Each location offered different landscapes and unique opportunities to see animals. A real highlight of our trip was a sunrise hot air balloon over the Serengeti. Watching the sun rise over a river filled with bustling hippos was one of the most spectacular things I’ve ever seen! All of our accommodation throughout the trip exceeded our expectations from the quality of the food to the fantastic, friendly service provided by the staff. The personal touch provided by the Lemala staff and also at Zawadi really helped make our trip extra special! It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience and one we’ll never forget.

“Another absolutely incredible location - we could see monkeys, impalas and buffalo from our balcony as the sun rose in the morning. The private plunge pool on the outdoor terrace is an amazing feature, truly special. Great staff, especially the bartender (Goodwill) who arranged our sundowners and taught us Swahili.”
Zawadi Hotel
“The perfect place to chill out and relax. The food, the pool, and the private beach are all so luxurious. The beach is located near a coral lagoon which offers incredible diving/snorkelling. The hotel also arranged a day trip to Stone Town which we really enjoyed. The onsite cat, Chicken, was an unexpected bonus. True luxury accommodation, perfect for a honeymoon!”

“From Day 1, Donna was an absolute pleasure to deal with. We were so impressed by her knowledge of the safari locations and her insight into how best to structure our honeymoon to make it as special as possible. We had a lot of questions, but Donna was always patient and happy to answer them all—no matter how small. We always felt that Donna truly understood how important this honeymoon trip was to us, and we genuinely feel she went above and beyond to give us the best experience possible.
The little extras along the way were beautiful touches, and we really appreciated them. Donna was also always open and honest with us (for example, in terms of our prospects of seeing the migration), and this was really important to us—we felt she truly cared and wasn’t just focused on selling us a dream.
