Holiday to Kenya & Egypt
Rose Sharpe, 16th September 2025Very well planned trip to Kenya and Egypt. All of the items that were important to us to see we were able to see.
Accommodation Visited
Tamarind Tree Hotel
“Nice accommodation.”
Saruni Samburu
“Excellent staff, food, and service. The guide was knowledgeable and wildlife views were incredible. They made us feel like family. The rooms were nice. The only minor downside is the bugs that enter the villa when it’s open during the day. We wished the screens could have remained down during the day. In spite of this we would not hesitate to go back.”
Saruni Eagle View
“This is a tented accommodation which I was a bit nervous about. However, it is like a fancy hotel room with a canvas exterior. Our stay was very comfortable. The staff were incredible and also made us feel like family. They did our laundry at no additional cost which we really appreciated. The food and service were amazing as was the wildlife views with amazing guides. I would not hesitate to return here.”
Four Points by Sheraton Nairobi Airport
“The hotel was ok but was disappointed that basics like washing clothes and an iron board had to be requested and took some time to get.”
Le Meridien Cairo Airport
“Beautiful accommodations and nice restaurants.”
Mövenpick Resort Aswan
“We felt like we were VIPs here. Excellent accommodations, views, food, and staff.”
Jaz Viceroy Nile Cruise
“Clean environment and friendly responsive staff. The food was mostly ok. They did our laundry and did an excellent job. Dropped off laundry before 9 and it was ready around 4 PM.”
Kempinski Nile Hotel
“Beautiful hotel, staff, service, and food. We would not hesitate to return here.”
Staff Review
“The majority of the trip was planned by a Mahlatini team member that left before our trip. She was very thorough and reviewed our itinerary with us before her departure. Aaron was very responsive to emails during travel including helping us to add a camel experience and a 1/2 day shopping experience with a driver in Nairobi.”
