Honeymoon to Kenya & Seychelles
Dana-Marie Gomes-Carr, 30th August 2025Our honeymoon to Kenya and Seychelles was absolutely amazing. From our lodgings, to the food, to the wonderful staff at each destination, it was memorable. We plan to return to both destinations in the future. Kenya, we wished we could have stayed longer! Seychelles, we did not want to leave!

Ololo Safari Lodge
“Ololo Safari Lodge was top-notch. The staff, owner, game drivers were all so nice and accommodating and knowledgeable, we highly recommend staying here. They decorated for the honeymoon, provided a bottle of champagne, a card and we thought it was so sweet and a real personal touch! Sleeping in a tent was a first for both of us and we actually truly enjoyed it, as it was so peaceful and the view of the national park was stunning from our patio. The lodge has its own farm from which I believe 90% of the food we ate came from, you could taste the freshness and every meal was so delicious. Having breakfast outdoors and overlooking the park, we will never forget it. The grounds were well kept and while we did not get the chance to experience the pool, it was kept clean and a great addition to the lodge.”
STORY Seychelles
“Mahe, Seychelles, absolutely beautiful, we already want to make a return trip and explore the other islands. Story was an amazing resort to stay at. Our garden suite was beautiful, the staff decorated for the occasion, provided a bottle of champagne, a fruit and dessert plate, a real personal touch which we truly appreciated. We had the half-board option for our stay so we ate majority of our meals at the buffet for breakfast and dinner. We appreciated the variety of food offered each day for both meals. For lunch we frequently ate at Ripples located by the pool, the food was so good! Room service the couple of times we ordered was also very delicious, it was easy to make an order and the wait time was not very long. We had dinner at Eden one night, it was beach side so you could hear the waves, a great place to celebrate a special occasion or have a romantic date night. Trader Vic's another restaurant on the resort, food was delicious, very cool vibes. The night we went there was a live singer so that added to the experience. The grounds and the pool were amazing, the beach was really nice as well when we were able to go.”

“It was an absolute pleasure to work with Dave. He was very helpful when we had to make changes to our initial trip due to a conflict with my husband's work schedule. We appreciated the knowledge he brought to helping us decide on where we should go, to not only experience a safari but to have a relaxing leg of our honeymoon as well. He was always willing to meet and discuss any questions we had, this meant a lot as this was the first trip for both myself and my husband to Africa. The other members of the Mahlatini team were also wonderful to work with and provided us with all the necessary information we needed to make sure our trip went smoothly. We were really impressed and would certainly work with the company again.”
