Holiday to Tanzania
Michelle Gerken, 26th February 2026Another flawlessly executed vacation. This is our fourth trip to Africa with Mahlatini and we wouldn’t trust anyone else. We were originally booked to go to Tanzania, Oman and UAE for 2 weeks. Unfortunately, the war in Iran began while we were in Tanzania. Given the situation we were forced to pivot. Two days before we were supposed to leave for Oman, Kitty rebooked us for 5 days in Zanzibar and handled our cancelations, rebookings, as well as secured us refunds. I cannot imagine having to have navigated this situation myself. Thank you Mahlatini 🫶🏼 we’re already mentally planning our next trip!

“Our trip was originally to Tanzania, Oman and UAE. While we were in Tanzania, the war with Iran began. We ended up having to cancel the entire back end of our trip 2 days before we were supposed to leave for Oman. Thanks to Kitty, our vacation wasn’t disrupted at all. She canceled our flights and hotels and rebooked us for 5 days in Zanzibar instead. I can’t imagine having had to deal with that on my own. She was amazingly helpful and I’m so thankful for her expertise.”
