We couldn’t have asked for a better partner than Mahlatini to organise our honeymoon. From the very beginning, they helped turn our dream of combining a safari with the Maldives into a seamless and unforgettable reality. During the planning stages, the team was incredibly flexible and patient, especially as we needed to shuffle dates a few times due to unavoidable changes in our schedules. Even more impressively, just a week before departure, when we had to change all our flights due to ongoing global conflict, they handled everything quickly and calmly, taking a huge amount of stress off our shoulders. Jess, our main contact, was fantastic throughout. She was always on hand to assist with prompt, helpful responses and made the entire process feel easy and reassuring. On the rare occasions Jess wasn’t available, another member of the team would step in straight away, so we always felt supported. The itinerary itself was perfectly curated. Our time at Chitwa Chitwa was an unforgettable safari experience, with a stunning lodge, beautifully designed spaces, and incredibly spacious, comfortable rooms. The food was exceptional and varied, and the all-inclusive offering truly delivered. What stood out most was the people, from the warm and attentive service to our incredible guide and tracker, whose knowledge and passion made every game drive special. Seeing the Big 5 and enjoying moments like breakfast overlooking the watering hole made this a truly magical part of our honeymoon. In the Maldives, Six Senses Kanuhura was pure paradise. From the moment we were met in Malé and welcomed into the seaplane lounge, we felt transported into a completely different world. The service throughout the resort was outstanding, with thoughtful, personalised touches at every turn. The experiences, from the sunset dolphin cruise to stargazing and the spa, were all unforgettable, and the dining, especially the BBQ nights, was consistently of the highest quality. It was the perfect place to completely relax and unwind. Thanks to Mahlatini’s thoughtful planning and attention to detail, we were able to completely switch off from the moment our honeymoon began. All the additional touches and seamless logistics meant we could move effortlessly from one incredible experience to the next. It’s clear that Mahlatini are true experts in what they do. Their knowledge, organisation, and genuine care made our honeymoon not only stress-free, but truly special. We would absolutely choose them again to plan our next trip.
