The Victoria Falls Hotel
“The grand hotel was fabulous! Our room had the perfect view looking towards the mist rising from the falls, we enjoyed the meals on the open terrace with a view, we swam in the pool, and the staff was incredibly friendly. Even though a restaurant at the far side of the property was under construction, it did not impact our visit. We totally recommend this hotel.”
Ngoma Safari Lodge
“The view from this lodge and units over the wildlife and distant river is breathtaking taking! The food was variable and depended on the chef. The room was high end with elegant decor. The only drawback was not being informed that baboons will come thru and actually drink from the dipping pool on our deck. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.”
Savuti Camp
“Wilderness Savuti was fabulous. This camp stands out because our guide, Dee, ate with us, which allowed a closer connection with her! Plus, either she or other staff members sat with us at the evening bonfires. Exchanging stories added to our experience. Our biggest surprise on our entire trip happened during our extended morning game drive. Dee and staff surprised us with a private lunch in the bush along a river with ten hippos to watch! Staff had secretly set up tables with drinks and a buffet lunch. We were completely surprised and will remember that special lunch as one of our trip highlights!”
Monachira Camp
“The Monachira Camp was also a wonderful experience. Our guide, Moss, was very experienced and truly had a passion for tracking. He was probably our best tracker and found lions each day. I felt a good connection with him too. I also formed a special bond with one of the managers there. The people really made for a great experience. Plus they served a surprise celebration dinner for us on our private deck.”
