“This was a true luxury tent experience in the bush. First class experience. Excellent food. We were treated like royalty. This camp has resident hippos in the river that runs through the property that we were able to watch from our river-facing tent. James was an excellent naturalist guide who made sure we had amazing, close-up encounters with the animals. This property was our favorite of all the lodges we stayed at.”

“Beautiful, well-appointed, luxurious tents with some glass walls for viewing the surroundings. The lodge is set amongst beautiful topography with surrounding rock formations (kopjies) and rolling hills. Excellent guides who put great effort into finding the specific animals that we had not yet encountered. Dining was prepared and presented with artistic flair. I had an excellent massage with Diana. First class experience.”

“This is a very special hotel. I have never stayed at a hotel as beautiful as this one and probably never will. It would be impossible to top the gorgeous lodge, rooms and setting. The dining was presented exquisitely. Afternoon cocktails (sundowners at the lodge) were accompanied by delicious snacks. Staff was friendly and professional.
We had two elephants visit us at the lodge to say goodbye on the morning we departed.”

She was able to arrange for hotels that other agents were unable (or unwilling) to book. While we were away, the Mahlatini staff responded to our call immediately and followed up to make sure everything went smoothly. The group that was responsible for meeting us at each destination was professional and friendly. We didn’t have to worry about any connections or pick ups.”
