Dawn Boldt, 22nd June 2026The description of the amenities did not come close to what we got. We were blown away with the accommodations from the rooms, to the food, and the staff. It was better than we had imagined.

“The scenery is like a dream with lush grass and huge fig trees. Ambiance at all the meals was so special with animals and nature surrounding us. The staff all knew our names and were always warm and welcoming. Our guide was so knowledgeable and took our safety very seriously when we went on our self-guided hike. He was never far away.”
Hemingways Ol Seki Mara
“I am not sure this space is big enough to tell of all the amazing things we experienced at Hemingway's. We were warmly greeted by one of the managers, drinks and snacks were a delight after our journey to the Mara. The "tent" was spectacular! Gorgeous views, amazing deck and pool. The staff would not let us lift a finger while we were in the tent. Meal were absolutely amazing and we felt bad when we couldn't finish. The chef was wonderful! Our butler made sure everything was just right at every meal. On morning safari there would be hot drinks and snacks. We had unbelievable success on safari. You could tell our guides really loved the land, animals, and teaching guests about it all. We learned so much! Our visit to the Maasai tribe was very nice as well. We learned about all things Maasai and then got to go shopping in the make shift mall. All were very inviting. We even danced with the women of the tribe. Honestly I feel like Hemingway's deserves 10 stars. It was above and beyond anything we could have dreamed.”
Zawadi Hotel
“Another place that was like a dream. The private villas were spacious, we'll thought out, and luxurious. The deep bathtub was a highlight after rough safari. We spent a lot of time on our private decks and dipping in our plunge pools while drinking wine during the day. Our meal were so delicious. We had mentioned I was not a fan of onions and the chefs made me special meals with no onions! I couldn't believe it. Our main lady nicknamed "Calories" made sure we did not want for anything. We left at least 5lbs heavier! We also enjoyed the company of the hotel manager, a cat named Chicken! This place was exactly the way to end our trip relaxing, drinking, and just being together as a family.”

“Aaron was incredible. He took the time to listen to our requests while staying in our budget. He had the extra challenge of a six hour time difference, but was always prompt to answer first thing in the morning.”
