Honeymoon to Mauritius & South Africa
Mr Eoin Guerin, 23rd November 2013The whole honeymoon was luxury beyond our expectations. On Safari the guides were very experienced and we saw a lot of game getting extremely close to the animals. Food was top quality at the Serondella lodge and Paradise Cove. Paradise cove was a little less intimate than the Safari lodge experience but had excellent tropical gardens with a lot of thought put into landscaping and incorporating small walks. Definitely lifelong memories that we can look back on with pleasure were created.
Accommodation Visited
Serondella Game Lodge
“Perfect is all we can say about the lodge. Food, staff, feeling welcome, size of our room, the honeymoon extras such as the private candle lit dinner for two were all excellent. We paid for luxury and we can't deny thats what we got.”
Paradise Cove Boutique Hotel
“Paradise Cove was a little more commercial and less personal than the Serondella lodge but then it was a larger venue and this was to be expected. The setting was beautiful and the atmosphere was very relaxed. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive and the food of excellent quality. On the first day we had meetings with a hotel representative and a Mauritours representative trying to sell us excursions which we felt was a little intrusive but we were left to relax and enjoy ourselves for the rest of the week.”
Staff Review
“All logistics worked out perfectly including checking bags through Johanesberg to Mauritius. The only slight problem was that some transfer times between Airports and hotels were a little longer than anticipated and left no room for error / breakdowns.”
