Family holiday to Kenya & Tanzania
Timothy & Victoria Pook, 24th October 2015Safari was amazing, Zanzibar very pleasant although beach not great - seaweed and tide went out about a mile! Flight connections were not great and the Zanzibar marathon being staged on the morning of our Mara North flight meant we had a 5 oclock start and a 4 hour wait at Wilson to avoid traffic and road closures. (Having said that, we think the hotel driver was far too cautious about the traffic situation). This was a real disappointment given what we were paying to stay at Hemingways. We only saw the place for about 2 hours in the daylight.
