So easy to drive and to find locations. Thanks for your excellent trip preparation.
Such a diversity, beach, bush, tropical forest, so nice people. Highly impressed.
Too short stay (1 night) to objectively comment this lodge. We have been excellently welcomed and we felt immediately in "Holiday mode"
We are very happy to have visited the Mulanje place and walked in the tea plantation. The lodge was very quite with a beautiful view. Nice trails.
Together with Mvuu Camp, Zomba Foreast Lodge was the highlight of these vacations. Petale and Tom, the owners, are so nice and really spend time with their guests in the evening telling stories about Malawi, their life experience, the culture and their approach to nature. We were absolutely disconnected from our European lifes for 3 days and this was absolutely fantastic.
By far it is the place where we eat the best... Congratulations to them and the team!!! It was difficult to leave this magic place.
Definitively what we were looking for when imagining our trip to Malawi with our little boy. The 4 days spent at Mvuu Camp were so relaxing that we got the feeling we spent much more days there. It is the nicest feeling that you can have when on Holiday. The days are longer...
It is also important to mention that this experience would not have been the same without our safari guide Mr. Sam Sankhani. This guys, in 4 days, turned to be a friend that all the familly hope to see him again! Thanks to him, we got another great feeling when leaving Mvuu Camp. We were crying. What can be a stronger feedback to you of our full satisfaction. Thank you Sam!!!
Nice place for the end of the trip. We did not swim in the lake because of the bilharzia risk.
It is hard to comment this place because it was so amazing the week before at Mvuu and Zomba. But objectively we found the people a little less welcoming than in the other places.
Claire has been able to figure out exactly what we were seaching for our vacations and she picked up places that 100% correspond to our life style. Congratulations.
The only improvement might be eventually on the billharzia risk by the Mahlatini staff, not by Claire herself. We think that it is very specific to Lake Malawi and this should be a little more explained.
