The highlight was definitely the safari at Simbambili Lodge. The food was great, the service was brilliant and the attention to detail was very much appreciated. Our game driver was fantastic and made the game drives really interesting. We saw the big five in the first two days.
Really nice hotel but not the greatest location. We had to get taxis to/from Camps Bay or the Waterfront every evening for dinner. The service at the hotel was fantastic but the bedrooms could benefit from a bit of improvement.
We loved it at Le Petite Ferme and the owner gave us a great tour of the winerie. The only criticism was not being advised about the live music on Friday nights which did keep us awake. But the lunch the following day made up for it.
See above. I cannot fault this safari lodge and would definitely recommend it. I only wish we could have stayed there longer.
The location of our beach hut was fantastic. The staff made such an effort and we were treated to a private dinner on the beach on our last night. The chef made me a birthday cake and played happy birthday on his xylophone! The only slight disappointments were the fact that the water went out for miles at low tide and there were lots of mosquitos.
Adam tailor-made the honeymoon to our exact requirements and within budget and was able to provide detailed knowledge and advice that enabled us to finalise our itinerary. We found everything to be as expected and were confident that Adam would sort things out if there did happen to be any problems. I would definitely book a holiday with Adam again in the future.
