Only four stars because of Mauritius- everything else was 5/5.
Frankshoeck was fantastic, enjoyed Cape Town but the natural scenery in the winelands was unbeatable.
Gorgeous but truthfully did not feel any different than Mexico/Caribbean... did not get any feel for local culture but I guess that is true for any four seasons I have been to.
Honestly this was the most disappointing part of the trip. the grounds/beach and structures were all a 5/5 but the service and food was seriously lacking and the worst of any of the locals we stayed at. The dinners and breakfasts were average, we repeatedly had to ask for menus or our drink orders and waited 15 minutes for water... also they claimed they didn't know it was our honeymoon and promised to set up our room with the flowers and the champagne and on our 3rd night when they still hadn't set up I had to ask them. We also never got the flower bouquet... just a random bottle of champagne in the room that's it.
Disappointed with 4 seasons and that was the most expensive part, also disappointed with the timing pick up hiccup/miscommunication in the safari and our driver was rushing to get us there early in the pouring rain. Shuttles in Mauritius were below average and the second car wreaked of cigarette smoke.
