Devon and I had an absolutely amazing time on our 2 week honeymoon to South Africa. More than any other trip we've been on, we didn't want to go home and wished we could spend the rest of our lives in South Africa!
South Africa was great. Two weeks flew by, largely due to the great activities that were planned, our amazing accommodations, and the people we met along the way.
Not only does the country have amazing sights, cities, and activities, but we found the people were warm and welcoming, and quick to speak highly of their country and discuss its history.
The One & Only was a great hotel. The staff were friendly, location was amazing, food (mainly breakfast) was delicious, and the room was one of the best we've stayed in. We were able to stay on the island, which made us feel like we were far away from a busy city every time we came back to the hotel.
Devon and I wish we could live at Babylonstoren. This place was amazing. We took advantage of as many of the activities provided, and were met with welcoming faces the entire time. Our only regret was not spending another night here.
Additionally, the staff were some of the most hospitable people we've ever met. They remembered our names, were always attentive to our needs, and made sure we felt welcome the entire time.
We were not happy with this hotel. The room provided, though described online as "modern and contemporary", looked as if it were decorated in the 1970s and not updated since then. The room was also dirty, and other guests utilized the sitting area outside our room to have drinks and play music. We ended up switching to the Four Seasons and not finishing our stay at this hotel.
Natasha was great to work with! It seems like it was years between the time we started working with Natasha to when we actually started our holiday, and it was great to have a consistent, helpful advisor in Natasha throughout the entire process. Natasha provided first-hand experience, great options, and was always able to answer our questions and provide her input. I'm confident that we would not have been able to plan such an amazing, once in a lifetime trip without Natasha's help.
