Overall Impressions

Everything ran smoothly during the two week trip and we had no worries/concerns at any time as everything had been well planned and organised in advance of travel. The highlight of the trip was definitely the game reserve and Cape town - the location and the accommodation was great!

Countries Visited

Mauritius 5

Mauritius was the latter part of a trip and we did only one excursion, to swim with dolphins, which was organised by our accommodation, therefore we didnt get much chance to explore the whole island. The people we met at the resort and those we encountered on our excursion and at the airport were very helpful and friendly towards tourists.

South Africa 5

The game reserve was a highlight for us as we have never done safari before and the staff at Reed Valley/Bush Lodge were oustanding. Cape Town was also very beautiful and the hop-on/hop-off bus was good value for money and ensured we were able to see all the key sites in the 3 days we were there. The view from Table Mountain was another highlight.

Accommodation Visited

Cape Riviera Guesthouse 4

We had a high room which was very spacious with a very luxurious bathroom. The staff there were very attentive and helpful and it was in a safe and quiet area of Cape Town.

Amakhala Reed Valley Inn 5

The staff at the game reserve were outstanding!

Tamassa Resort 5

Facilities on site were excellent and the food was a very high standard. There was lots of choice with the all-inclusive deal which is not always the case.

Staff Review 5

Very prompt responses to queries and nothing was ever of any trouble for them.
