Where should I begin. It was one of the best holidays of my life. The highlights were definitely the safaris. It lived beyond our expectations. The accommodation, the service was all up to a very high standard. Saw all the wild life that previously we only saw on TV. We could not believe how great the food was on safari considering we were in middle of nowhere. The staff at both the camps were knowledgeable, polite and patient with endless questions that we bombarded them with.
Zanzibar was icing on the cake. Great hotel, right on the beach. Very relaxing. We were indeed sad to leave Tanzania.
Tanzania is an amazing country with lots to offer. The people were friendly, curious and with great sense of humour.
Personally, I think it was the best wildlife to offer with numerous game parks and reserves.
Simply loved it.
Excellent hotel in the city centre.
Impala Camp was an experience. Great camp where staff went beyond their duties.
Great little touches like providing a bird list book, safari notebook which were very handy.
Loved that it was in the game reserve and a great location, on the banks of Rufiji River,
so even sitting around your camp, there were wild life to see. Food was good too.
Our driver, Mpogo could spot animals from miles. He was determined to show us a leopard and he indeed showed us on our last night!
Barbara, the manager was very helpful. She had great repertoire with her staff.
Mdonya Old River Camp was exactly what my family was looking for. A real bush experience.
Again it helped that it was in the game park. At night we could hear the the lions, hyenas, elephants,
hyrax, to name the few. The cooks here provided us with great bush breakfast and lunches.
Jumani our guide and Godson our driver were a great team and together they made certain that we saw all
that was was on the wish list. I still wonder how does Jumani remember so many different birds. 345 at the last count.
Mary, the manager was a great host. Always there to welcome us and see us off.
Z Hotel has a great location. Very comfortable stay. Loved that it was right on the beach.
My only criticism was with the food. As we were on half board basis we had dinners at the hotel.
The food that was presented was nothing like want was on the menu and no explanation given
as to why the food was not what we ordered. Otherwise a great hotel to relax and chill out.
Adam Chapman put together a great IT for us after many discussions. He knew exactly what I had in mind and put everything together for me.
Adam also stayed within my budget which was great.
