All of it was fantastic but the highlights were the rare things we got to see on safari, i.e. cheetah make a kill, the wildebeest crossing etc. The safari was really once in a lifetime.
Such a beautiful camp with fantastic staff.
Always wanted to stay here and realise why - it's incredible. Food is amazing.
On the whole, the service was good. However there were a few things that let this down. It was down to me to notice that we had a 12 hour layover in Nairobi on the way back, it was not pointed out to me. Which meant that it was up to me to enquire about day rooms and by the time we realised this (a week before our wedding) the hotel we were due to stay in House of Waine were full. We were also disappointed that there was no advice to get visas from the embassy before we arrived in Nairobi - this should be a standard. The arrivals in Nairobi was an absolute nightmare and such a stressful experience. We had to queue jump in the end as it took so long and we almost missed our flight. We were also not warned that we would need transit visas on the way back.
