Overall Impressions

We really felt pampered the entire time we were in South Africa. From the natural beauty of Capetown and the Winelands to the amazing time we had in Sabi Sands it was a great trip. The food was amazing too... I would say if I had to do the trip all over again the only thing I would change is that I would probably only spend 3 nights on safari and have added the extra night in Capetown because that is the only place where we felt like we didn't have enough time to do everything (eventhough we went to Robben Island, Table Mountain, Cape Point, Simon's Town, Camps Bay, as well as a a Township Tour).

One & Only Cape Town 5

Absolutely amazing. We truly enjoyed the hotel, the staff and the proximity to everything. Our best dinner in Capetown happened to be in the hotel at Reuben's.

The Last Word Franschhoek 3

The accommodations were nice (not comparable with One and Only or Dulini) and they definitely took care of us. They set us up on a personal bus tour of the Winelands with another couple but we were a little put off by the fact that the tour went to 2 of the wineries we had already been to the previous day per their recommendation. They did set us up with the best meal we had on the entire trip though at Le Bon Vivant.

Dulini Lodge 4

The only reason why I wouldn't rate it as "Excellent" is because of our experience at "One and Only Cape Town." We certainly felt pampered and we saw the big 5 within our first 2 days there.

Staff Review 5

Looking back it is pretty amazing that the only hitch in our plans was a flight delay. Nikki and the Mahlatini staff did a great job.
