We booked our holiday to South Africa and Mauritius through Mahlitini with Nikki. I was very impressed with the service we recieved from Mahlitini, I really couldn't fault them. Nikki was very knowledgable about the places we wanted to visit as she had visited the places herself and was able to give us good advice and recommendations! We travelled out on sept 8th and the weather in both destinations was ideal. Our first destination was South Africa where we stayed at Serondella game Lodge. Serondella game lodge was fab, Mich and Charel were very friendly and took good care of us! The accommodation and food were lovely and thanks to Charel and Syndey we got to see all the animals we wanted to see on safari (inc all of the big 5) UP CLOSE! An amazing experience. In Mauritius we stayed at the Heritage awali which was beautiful, and we were very impressed with the choice and quality of the food and drink (7 page cocktail list!! :) ). We made use of all the included water sport activities and got to try water skiing and windsurfing which was a lot of fun! We were also given a complimentary spa treatment which was lovely. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating! All in all an amazing holiday, loved every minute :)
Mauritius is beautiful, the beaches are very clean and pretty.
I loved South Africa, all the people we met were very friendly, the weather was great and the animals are amazing. Would Definately visit again!
We both loved our time at Serondella game lodge. It is small (max capacity approx 10 guests) which we really liked as we got to talk to everyone in the group which was nice. There was a good mix of people while we were there, some couples, some family. Mich and Charel are great they were both very friendly and welcoming and looked after us well! The accomodation is lovely and the food was delicious! We went on game drives in the morning and evening each day with Charel driving and Sydney tracking. Charel is very knowledgeable about the animals and made sure we got to see everything we wanted to ( inc all of the big 5). I had never been on safari before and thought it was an amazing experience, and a lot of fun!
The heritage awali is beautiful. All the staff are very professional and friendly. We were very impressed with the quality and choice of food and drink available. I particularly liked that the lunches were a la carte rather than buffet style! We paid a supplement to go to the Boma night which had food, music and dancing round a camp fire (a lot of fun) and the Indian restaurant (lovely food, good service). We also visited the golf club for lunch which is included and was very tasty with nice views! We got a complimentary 45 minute back massage each in the spa which was nice and relaxing and I also booked a facial. We also made use of the many available included activities and went out on the glass bottomed boat, went canoeing and tried water skiing and windsurfing! There was live music in the bar every night and a 7 page cocktail list!
