Hotel in Cape Town was lovely. Friendly helpful personal touches we were really looked after. Room was fantastic great breakfasts! Food in Capetown was consistently brilliant. We had a great day trip to the cape of good hope where the sun finally came out and we found baboons and penguins along the way. Wine trip also a great day. Ultimately would have loved to have more time to explore Capetown as 3 days was not enough. The views from the top of Tabletop mountain may have been the ultimate highlight. Spectacular. Safari equally great. Big five seen and more - incredible leopards very cool ranger. Service accommodation and food were top notch and it was everything we could have asked for. Mauritius was nice way to finish. Not ideal with our failed upgrade but nice relaixing time spent in the sun to cap it all off.
From the moment we arrived we were made feel extremely welcome. Room and bathroom were beautiful and staff were extremely efficient friendly and helpful and looked after all our needs organising trips recommending dinner locations. The 6 o'clock drinks and canopes were also a really nice touch as you got a good chance to meet and chat with other guests. Rose petals and sparkling wine on our last night was the perfect touch.
Again from the welcome all the way through our stay I have only positives. Our lodge was lovely the Main House was a lovely spot and a nod back to former time and a great for evening drinks. We were always looked after at all time by extremely friendly and skilled staff. Food far exceeded our expectations including a BOMA experience candle lit dinner and my personal favourite the bush breakfast. Nice pool too. Our Ranger Sean was also superb great company and a brilliant person to be out driving with.
I would have marked this good but experience soured by a failure of a promised upgrade and when we arrived it took too long for them to work out what had happened and I thought more could have been done from their side to compensate when the error was clearly theirs. Finding out that are two free dinners in LeTelfair only included the bog standard menu (one of which proved inedible and the other restaurant was closed on the night they booked it for us!) was a bit of a disappointing. Having said that they gave us a beachside room and it was nice although we could have done with more water being provided as they could be slow to refill the mini bar. We also got a very nice apology when we left which was definitely a good touch.

Service from beginning to end was great and incredibly easy from our point of view. We were very well looked after throughout the process and in the one occasion during our time away where an issue did develop the response from Donna (outside of office hours) was extremely swift. We would thoroughly recommend Mahlatini and definitely use your services again. You really did organise us a honeymoon that we will never forget.
