Overall Impressions

Our Honeymoon was perfect! The itinerary was organised down to the last little detail. Personal circumstances while we were away required Claire Picknell to support us and we could not have asked for more. She was amazing!

Countries Visited

South Africa 4

I give a 4 for Cape Town - travelers need to be aware, this is not a resort... you need to be mindful of your safety at night. During the day we hired a car and travelled around the amazing Cape freely. There are townships EVERYWHERE - personally, this made me feel uncomfortable but others might not. The government are attempting to resolve the issues. There is so much to do - we crammed so much into 4 days - I would suggest 5 to do everything... White shark cage diving is amazing! as is table mountain, boulders beach and Cape Point. I would give a 10/5 for Andbeyond and Leadwood lodge in Sabi Sands! Pure luxury an style. You do not want for anything! The rangers and trackers (Craig and Chris) wee outstanding. We saw everything and it as way beyond our expectations.

Mauritius 5

Personal circumstances prevented us from enjoying and exploring the island. However, the Mauritian people are wonderful and the different cultures and religions live side by side in a truly magical way.

Accommodation Visited

Cape Royale 5

The staff at this hotel really make your stay special. Jarad Tours will support any needs outside f the hotel - pay a little extra (and I mean a little) and travel in style in one of their executive cars. The rooms are large and clean, breakfast is delicious! Lovely hotel... you cannot walk to the waterfront at night (5 minutes in a cab) but we dined in different restaurants so... The Woolworths (comparable to a M and S food store I the UK) is 300 m from the hotel.

Dulini River Lodge 5

This lodge is paradise on earth! You do not want for a thing! the staff are all amazing and welcoming. The lodge has everything you need - including a view of the bush with a few elephants, baboons and buffalo thrown in! The food is outstanding and the little treats and surprises surpass all expectations. I cannot express just how perfect this place truly is.

Angsana Balaclava Mauritius 5

Lovely hotel with fantastic staff who truly care about their guests. They were helpful, kind and supportive. The beachfront villas are the best - pay for the upgrade! The beach is lovely and service on the beach is a bonus! The sea is a little rocky (we were aware of this ad took our water shoes). The pool and facilities are all outstanding and the food and choices delicious. Have to say - the mini bar is beyond expensive and arrange taxi's yourself as the hotel adds 50%.

Staff Review 5

Claire is amazing. Her knowledge and advice on Africa and Mauritius is extensive. Her positive attitude and dedication to her clients ensured that we felt looked after and supported throughout our whole stay. Her honest approach enabled us to have trust and confidence in both her and Mahlatini. The relationships that Claire maintains with the hotels ensures that you receives little extra touches and special treatment! Thank you so much Claire for all you did
