Everything we could have imagined. Simbambilli was our favorite part of it all. The only thing I would change is upgrading the long flight to business class. It's a long way from New York!
Kruger was a great park. Don't think there's anything like it in the world. The townships surrounding it aren't the greatest, but that was expected. The ride from Houdsprit to the lodge was a wild one. Wish we could have explored Jo-burg a little before transferring.
Mauritius was very nice. The only thing was the weather, which is out of our control unfortunately. It rained maybe 3 out of the 7 days. We rented a car (for 1500 rupees/day) and traveled to some of the better beaches up north and on the west coast. Went seakarting which was awesome. Le Morne and Mont Choisy are worth the drive.
Simbambilli was the trip of our lifetime. It has inspired us to go on more safaris in the future. We couldn't believe how close you get to the animals. The rangers and trackers are filled with knowledge and we learned a whole lot. I will probably never go to a zoo again after this trip!
The Outrigger was a great all inclusive hotel. Thanks to Mahlatini, the few problems we had with the resort were taken care of right away. We were also upgraded to a beachfront room (worth it if you want to get the best rooms), and given access to the exclusive Plantation restaurant/pool. Only thing is that we didn't get any of the extras we were promised (champagne, chocolate etc.)

Nikki O'Hare was more than great. She helped us with choosing where to go, and telling us what's worth doing and what's not. I forgot a memory card for my camera and she was readily available for a call to help me out. When we had some issues at the Outrigger in Mauritius, Nikki made sure we were taken care of.
