Our Honeymoon will definitely be an unforgettable experience. We had a absolutely fantastic time on our trip which was incredibly well organised
Zanzibar was a beautiful country with many stunning beaches. Swimming in the Indian ocean there was amazing. We had a reef walk, visited Jozani forest to see the Colobus monkeys, had a tour of a local village and stayed in Stone Town which has a very interesting history. The people all were friendly whilst in Tanzania. Only negative was Zanzibar airport was a bit chaotic and hot when we were departing for Kenya.
Kenya was outstanding. The Masai mara national park was breathtaking. The vast savannah grasslands were teeming with life. It really did seem like a scene from the Lion King. The staff and people at our Masai Mara camp and also in Nairobi were very warm and friendly.
We were treated very well in Breezes Beach Club and Spa. The room was lovely and very close to the beach area. The standards of hospitality provided by the receptionists, waiters and chefs were very high. The food was again very high quality with a huge selection of food at buffets and some nights it was al a carte. There were plenty of activities to do at the resort and also they were very good at organising local tours. There was a gym, tennis court, spa and a dive centre where you could organise days out snorkelling or diving. We had a nice blend of relaxation with some activities.
This hotel in a fairly central stone town location was very nice. Our room was beautifully decorated in an Arabian style and at the top floor so we had a great view of stone town from our balcony. The staff were very nice and we were greeted by the manager on our arrival and at departure. He was very good at organising our tour of Stone town which was very interesting and well worth doing. The food and service in the hotel was excellent. The only negative was there was no lift and it was quite a steep trek to the top floor. Not one for a more elderly person.
Kitchwa Tembo was a fantastic place. We stayed in a 2 person tent overlooking the savannah plains. The tent/room was very well equipped with everything we needed and a very comfortable bed. We had a stunning view from the front of our tent and could see elephants, giraffes, lions and many other varieties of wildlife from there. We has a butler who kept our room really well, delivered tea/coffee in the morning and even put hot water bottles in the bed! The food was delicious and a lot of it was home grown. We had the same waiter every day called Joel who was brilliant and was always very helpful. There was 24hr security in the camp incase of wildlife and the camp was surrounded by a electric fence. The best part of this place was our ranger called Wilson. He really made the trip for us. His knowledge and enthusiasm for the wildlife on our twice daily game drives was very impressive. He made big efforts to allow us to make the most of our game drives and see a lot of wildlife up close. The Masai mara really is a stunning place, I really don't know how we could top it!
Excellent hotel, we had a short stay here and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The hotel had great views of Nairobi national park. The food in the restaurant was high quality and relatively inexpensive. The room was very nice.

Jamie Pallin - Thank you very much for organizing such a fantastic honeymoon for us. Jamie was very helpful and listened to what we wanted when we were first booking it. He was very knowledgable about Africa. He came up with a fantastic itinerary within our budget and the entire trip really exceeded our expectations. The places we stayed were all excellent. He also paid great attention to all the finer details when organising the trip. Our flights and transfers were all seemless. We had no issues whatsoever with travelling and there was always someone waiting for us at each stage. The timings of travel were also good so we never felt we were in a rush. Our honeymoon was made even more special with some nice touches such as cake and champagne in the places we were staying. I think his best advice was to do the beach holiday part first in Zanzibar and leave the Safari to the last week so that we finished on a high. We got married a few days before departure on honeymoon so relaxation on the beach the first week was perfect. Thanks again Jamie and Mahlatini for a unforgettable trip!
