Overall Impressions

Really well organised. Everything just ran according to plan and we didn't have to think of anything. Great locations and places to stay. The guides were also extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

Countries Visited

Varied locations and a huge range of wildlife - many really close up. The Serengeti was just wonderful. The people were friendly but generally poor. To see the children walking to school (some long distances) whilst smiling and waving as we went by was a real pleasure.

Accommodation Visited

The Plantation Lodge

A great location being well away from anywhere and very quiet. Good food and very comfortable accommodation. The gardens were outstanding with many species of birds. We were even visited by a stalk one day which tried to enter the reception!

Lemala Mara

In many ways this was the highlight. To be surrounded by the golden grasses of the Serengeti, whilst being so close to the Mara River; and with lions and zebras wandering around outside the tent at night was just unforgettable. The staff were all exceptional and the tent was very comfortable including ensuite facilities no less.

Breezes Beach Club & Spa

A pleasant hotel with good facilities and comfortable. The food at the buffet evenings was very good indeed. The beach was pristine white sands but the tide was out most of the day so it was not possible to swim. Also there was a lot of seaweed.

Staff Review

Claire is very knowledgeable and was a pleasure to deal with. Nothing was too much trouble in designing our holiday until we got it just right.
