In Akagera's open plains, woodlands, lakes, swamps and grassy low mountains you will find an abundance of plains game including the rare sitatunga. The main area includes a luxurious lounge, dining and bar area, pool and expansive viewing deck with a cozy fire pit. The architecture and interiors take inspiration from traditional Rwandan culture. Magashi offers the ideal opportunity to combine an extraordinary gorilla experience at Volcanoes National Park with a spectacular savannah safari at Akagera. In addition to this, there's the prospect of viewing chimps and other primates in the forests of western Rwanda, offering a complete standalone safari experience.
