Gorilla's Nest sits at the base of the magical Virunga mountain range in Rwanda's famous Volcanoes National Park, home to a diverse tapestry of wildlife including over 340 mountain gorillas, golden monkeys, and 300 bird species. It is also located just 5 minutes from the departure point for the daily gorilla treks, making it the perfect place from which to enjoy the incredible mountain gorilla experience as well as the many other activities within this spectacular national park.

Surrounded by sleeping volcanoes and eucalyptus trees for the ultimate private retreat, the resort offers 21 'nests', each carefully designed to blend into the surrounding natural environment and each offering incredible views. The Forest Lodge King rooms are available in one or two bedroom options to suit your needs and offer a private deck and open-air showers, whilst those looking for that extra touch of extravagance may opt for one of the three stunning suites (Virunga, Ingagi and Silverback). As part of the resort's sensational dining experience, you will enjoy meals served in a variety of areas throughout your stay; by the fire, under the tree canopy, or even in the treehouse. Notice the signature ingredient - rose petals from the surrounding rose bushes.
