Can I interact with animals on safari?
Although some businesses may offer animal interactions, at Mahlatini we strictly do not offer unethical wildlife interactions, including cub petting, elephant riding, walking with lions, or any experience that encourages direct contact with wild animals. We ask you to remember that these animals are typically bred in captivity and often sold to these places. Ethical sanctuaries, who have conservation and the animal's welfare at heart, shouldn't offer public interaction with wildlife as they would be promoting minimal human contact, so as the animals could one day be released.
