Located on Praslin Island's northwest coast and surrounded by spectacular tropical vegetation and colourful gardens, Constance Lemuria is a phenomenal place to relax, against one of the world's most beautiful backdrops. Taking up 3 sandy beaches and lapped by the Indian Ocean's warm waters the resort is just as popular for its handsome setting as it is for its renowned 18-hole championship golf course.
Situated in 101 hectares, Constance Lemuria's 105 suites and villas provide a glorious outlook upon the Indian Ocean; literally a stone's throw away from the beach and surrounded by tropical gardens, the ambience is very much idyllic. All suites provide an array of amenities, including air conditioning, bathroom with a separate shower and bath, free WiFi and complimentary Nespresso machines. Several of the Junior Suites inter-connect making them perfect for Seychelles family holidays. Accommodation is split between 88 Junior Suites, 8 Senior Suites, 8 Villas and 1 Presidential Suite. The Villas and Presidential Suite are larger and more exclusive than their sister suites, the latter possessing a sauna, steam bath and a private beach. Villas have 2 bedrooms as well as a private pool and are extremely private and spacious at 725m².
The hotel has a host of facilities for guests to enjoy, including 4 restaurants and 4 bars, which present a choice of both fine and casual dining options. Legend, the main restaurant offers international cuisine with different themes each evening; the Nest enjoys a lovely position on a rocky headland and offers a la carte Creole flavours including fresh seafood; Diva at the golf clubhouse has a casual chic urban feel and is open each evening for a la carte Mediterranean cuisine; while the Takamaka beach bar offers delicious lunchtime snacks daily. The 'feel good' Huna bar is perfect for a relaxing cocktail and has different music and entertainment each evening.
To relax in luxury, there's a fine choice of fun-filled activities. Guests can cool off in the resort's magnificent 3-tiered main pool, while away all their cares at the spa, choose from a variety of water sports including kayaks and sailing or play tennis. For avid golfers the chance to enjoy the par-70, 18-hole championship course, the only one in the Seychelles, is an absolute must; the par-3 15th is a particularly interesting and memorable hole! The course will be the venue for a PGA championship event in December 2018. Younger guests can enjoy the kids club with a daily changing programme of supervised activities. The resort makes a great choice as part of a Seychelles island-hopping holiday.
Complimentary guided nature walks, or self-guided treks of 20 to 45 minutes, are available from the hotel into the surrounding tropical forest and hills for guests wishing to discover more about the rare fauna and flora of Seychelles. Should relaxing on a white sand beach be the main purpose of your stay at Constance Lemuria, the resort's three beaches offer different options: Petite Anse Kerlan is fully serviced and has all the water sports; Grand Anse Kerlan is a protected beach and where turtles frequently visit; while the most picturesque is a buggy ride away at the other side of the golf course, gorgeous Anse Georgette - take some refreshments and enjoy an afternoon there - sheer bliss!
Situated on Praslin Island, Constance Lemuria is reached by taking a 15 minute light aircraft flight from Mahe. The hotel is then just a 5 minute private car transfer from the airstrip.
Complimentary water sports include paddle boards, windsurfs, kayaks, hobiecats and paddle boards. Diving and fishing can also be arranged along with island-hopping excursions and tours (payable locally). Spa, gym and tennis courts. Various treks and trails of the surrounding tropical hillsides. The hotel has Seychelles' only 18-hole golf course - a spectacular facility! There is also a Kid's Club with extensive daily activity programme for 4-12 year olds. Excursions can be arranged to the charming neighbouring island of La Digue
Read what our previous clients thought of Constance Lemuria Seychelles
Our room was rather far from the main hotel and restaurants (the last one of the suite buildings)
Was a bit of a trek to meals and the golf although you could call a buggy.
Housekeeping excellent and room always spotless.
Buffet meals at Legends not always up to standard anticipated. Slow to replenish dishes and hot food quite often cool. Seemed to be a lack of managers supervising.
Meals at Diva…
Out of a magazine. The staff were incredible and the food was delicious. We golfed one morning and visited all of the incredible beaches. We did a day trip to La Digue and rented bicycles. The travel company Mahlatini used in the Seychelles was wonderful to work with and great with coordinating all transfer.
