Set in the Sainte Anne Marine Park, and just off the coast of Mahé, Cerf Island is just a mile long and less than a mile wide and has some lovely sandy beaches. There are very few inhabitants on the island; there are also no roads - only a few pathways allow for leisurely exploration, winding their through the foliage and lush vegetation. And, being a small island, you can't get lost!
The largest hotel on the island is the privately-owned Cerf Island Resort which offers just 24 spacious villas - all designed to sit within the tropical foliage and offer a true Creole island experience. The main island of Mahé is just 10 minutes away by the resort's boat.
Being within the Sainte Anne Marine Park means that the waters around Cerf Island offer good snorkelling and an array of abundant sea life. Kayaks are also available and provide the perfect way to discover deserted white sand beaches. Diving and fishing can also be arranged.
