Holiday to Carana Beach Hotel
There are a lot of hotels to choose from on Mahe, and we were so grateful that we decided on Carana. It’s a perfect little boutique hotel right on a stunning horseshoe beach with terrific food and a laid-back vibe. I’m not sure what was more fun: lounging by the ocean in plush chairs while enjoying…
Lovely beach hotel, though the beach itself isn’t the most calm. The front desk staff is wonderful. The restaurant staff was okay. Breakfast was good. Lunch and dinner were average-to-good in the casual dining restaurant.
The room was out of this world! We had the villa at the edge with the plunge pool so we had complete privacy. The room was beautiful with breathtaking views over the blue water. Only 4 stars because the security guards were sometimes caught lurking at the edge of the property which was very uncomfo…
