Camps Bay Resort

Explore South Africa

Experience some of Cape Town's most beautiful beaches from the Camps Bay Resort. An excellent base from which to explore the vibrant cafes, restaurants and nightlife of the area, the Resort sits against the stunning backdrop of the Twelve Apostles Mountain Range and is only a short drive from the many attractions of Cape Town city centre. When not relaxing on the beach guests can top up their tan by the Resort's two swimming pools or enjoy a range of activities nearby. Bicycles can be hired for exploring, while the Mint Wellness Spa boasts a range of professional therapists who are prepped to deliver a number of soothing therapies and treatments.

Rooms at the Resort are comfortable with all of the 46 apartments, rooms and studios featuring their own individual character and charm. Accommodation comes in varying levels of luxury and ranges from the Bali Bay Classic Room to a large 2 bedroom apartment. All rooms possess WiFi, although this is at an extra cost.

The main reason to stay at the Resort is its close proximity to some of Cape Town's most pristine beaches, with Camps Bay Beach only a short walk away. This Blue Flag beach is very popular with tourists and locals alike, but it is far from the only option the area has to offer. Guests might also enjoy Glen Beach, which is smaller and more secluded, while Clifton 4th Beach is perfectly exclusive.

Camps Bay resort was very nice and well deserved of its 3 star status, we had two different rooms on our two trips, and although quite different is size (the one was much larger),they were both of a good standard and came with all the amenities required for self-catering. The location was ideal and very convenient and would certainly recommend the property to anyone looking for a similar self-catering affordable accommodation. We were very happy with our choice not to stay in cape town directly. One possible slight complaint, although the room was serviced daily, and for the most part there were no issues, they forgot to replace our towels (taken the previous day and not replaced, nor replaced the following day), with having taking the previous ones away and also to replace the toilet paper, with us be required to go to reception to request more.
