Refer email to Nikki. Not good. If I were Mahlatini I would not recommend it to guests in future. The staff were terrible and the hotel is incredibly noisy, so we slept terribly every night.

An excellent hotel with a superb room and friendly helpful staff, however with major refurbishment not completed, we found ourselves going next door for breakfast and meals. Following the power failure the management ran out of torches and candles leaving us literally in the dark for the final 13 hours of our stay and having to use our mobile phones for light until our 6am departure!

The staff at this hotel really make your stay special. Jarad Tours will support any needs outside f the hotel - pay a little extra (and I mean a little) and travel in style in one of their executive cars. The rooms are large and clean, breakfast is delicious! Lovely hotel... you cannot walk to the waterfront at night (5 minutes in a cab) but we dined in different restaurants so... The Woolworths (comparable to a M and S food store I the UK) is 300 m from the hotel.

This hotel was extremely luxurious and the staff could not have been more friendly. The breakfast was great! We were able to choose what we wanted from the menu which meant we could have steak and lobster. The hotel was also close to the waterfront and many great restaurants were only a short taxi drive away. Our only problem with this hotel was that the bedrooms had a window that faced out into the corridor which meant the rooms were very noisy and you could hear everything said by people walking past. Also, the beds were not as comfortable as I would expect for a five star hotel.

We loved the Cape Royale. From the minute we arrived and were met by James (the doorman who gave us advice on great restaurants, where we would enjoy walking and how to drive to Table Mountain) we felt right at home. The concierge helped us coordinate and confirm transportation for cage diving with great white sharks (an excursion that was further away than I realized--I had been planning to drive us until I found out that a road was closed and we would have to leave at 3 a.m. The concierge not only confirmed our appointment but also found us excellent transport). The rooms were beautiful--it truly felt like home away from home.

Could not have asked for more - not sure if we were given an upgrade but the size of the room and standard was first class.

Excellent accomodation. Checking in very poor! Room was not ready even though we had paid for the room the previous night but due to flight delay we did not make it. Very disappointed with the service and wait time
