Highgrove House

This charming colonial guesthouse is a must stop for those driving the 'Panorama Route' up to the Kruger National Park, through Mpumalanga. Situated on a 64 hectare farm, the original farmhouse dates from the turn of the 18th century. In 1991 it opened its doors as a five star country hotel offering gourmet cuisine and sweeping views of the Mpumalanga Lowveld valley.

Each of the 6 luxury suites are beautifullly furnished and a great size with seperate bedroom and living areas. The fireplaces in the rooms will be lit on cooler evenings creating a super romantic atmosphere. There are 2 executive suites which in addition to the features of the luxury suite come complete with private pool and courtyard.

Highgrove House has an award-winning fine dining restaurant looked after by their head chef Thelma Mbuyane. The house grows as much of its own produce as it can used extensively in their menus. The on site Orchard Spa is one of the best spas in the region with spacious treatment rooms and views over the valley.
