La Plume is a 1902 Victorian homestead on a working ostrich, alfalfa and vine farm in Oudtshoorn. Set in the tranquil Olifantsrivier Valley it demands spectacular views of the Swartberg Mountains. A warm welcome awaits you at this charming homestead, combining old world charm with modern comforts.
La Plume Guest Farm offers 13 rooms in total including 5 standard rooms, 4 suites, 3 honeymoon suites and 1 self-catering 2 bedroom cottage. The air-conditioned bedrooms all have private entrances, sunny verandahs and elegant, comfortable antiques with TV and mini bar.
Facilities include a salt water pool with a view, set amongst rolling lawns and a dining room offering traditional ostrich fillet and other home cooked delicacies.
