Found in the heart of the picturesque village of Franschhoek, Leeu House is surrounded by rich history, award winning eateries and possesses charming Cape Dutch styling.
Recently fully renovated and refurbished, the property is small and intimate with only 12 en-suite rooms on offer, and offers an oasis of comfort and luxury that combines the tranquil feel of a country guesthouse with vibrant village life. Individually styled bedrooms feature superbly comfortable beds with high quality linen, and are fitted with sisal carpets, and curtains and upholstery in natural linens, contributing to the relaxed yet sophisticated feel. The luxury en-suite bathrooms have marble floors, double vanity tops, free-standing baths and/or generous showers, underfloor heating and heated towel rails.

Read what our previous clients thought of Leeu House
We thought everything about Leeu was incredible. The service was perfect and the room was phenomenal. They went above and beyond for us, knowing it was our honeymoon, including champagne and notes of congratulations. Our family called ahead and surprised us with a massage as a gift at their spa on the Estate property, which was one of the best massage and spa experiences I've had in…
Leeu House was one of our favourites ever! Such a pretty location and the rooms are so beautiful we didn't want to leave! We visited the Leeu estate too which is out of this world! Definitely worth a tour of the grounds. Any art lover should visit as the owner is an art collector and has filled the estates with lovely pieces.
