Shamwari Long Lee Manor

Informed by a strong sense of history, Long Lee Manor is a beautiful Edwardian manor house found in Shamwari Game Reserve. Situated nearby the Bushmans River, the property is elegantly appointed and pervades a colonial edge complemented by modern interiors and comfortable rooms. The house was originally built in 1910 and embodies the colonial charm of yesteryear through perfectly manicured lawns, open fireplaces and original architecture.

Accommodation is decorated in soft pastel colours with the property's selection of 15 rooms and suites comfortably furnished. All accommodation options are designed for 2 people and are either twin or double rooms. Garden Suites are inter-leading and as such are a good option for families or small groups. Both the Manor Suite and Honeymoon Suite feature balconies and one of the Palm Court Luxury Rooms is wheelchair friendly. All rooms and suites provide en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning, a television and a mini-bar.

The house offers a range of facilities, including a steam room and fitness centre, the chance to explore the well stocked wine cellar, 2 swimming pools and a relaxation retreat with a range of treatments. Game drives are the main activity; led by expert guides, guests can expect to see Africa's famous Big 5 along with a host of other incredible wildlife.

Shamwari Game Reserve is approximately a 1 hour drive from Port Elizabeth and approximately a 3.5 hour drive from the Garden Route.
